Default 240 Bench in a 245 - Is there ANY Hope?

Hey Guys, I’m confident this is a NO before i even begin, but i need to put it to the panel so i can rest easy. I have at long last located a set of near mint condition leather 240 fronts. He also has the bench-from a sedan. I am installing in a wagon.
I know, I know ... but is there any sense (at all) in attempting a fit? I have wagon benches galore that i can pick apart, swap covers and wagon bench and use the sedan foam to fill out the wings that cover the wells.??.. anyways. Any advice is welcome here. And if it’s a flat ‘no go’ does anyone know a good way to change dark blue vinyl to black
All the best and many thanks-
c.

The rear seats in the wagon and sedan are different. So rest easy. I don't know if reupholstering your 245 rear seat in leather to match the new front seats would fit the budget... You could do the seat removal and repair/replacement of the foam yourself and just leave the recovering job to an auto or boat upholsterer.
