1995 960 Estate Spares or Repair

I have decided to sell my 1995 960 estate. I have owned the car for just over three years and its always been great to drive, extremely comfortable and never let me down. However, it has just failed its MOT, so, as I don’t use it much now, I have decided to sell it ‘Sold As Seen’ for spares or repair.

The MOT states two major defects and a few advisories. I was advised by the garage that to rectify the defect and pass the MOT the car is going to need a new exhaust. The advisories that need to be monitored are; the front brakes binding but not excessively, rear suspension bushes worn but not resulting in excessive movement, a seat belt buckle slightly damaged, oil leak, a fog light not working and rear brake back plate rubbing.

The body work is in a good general condition, it’s been regularly serviced and comes with two keys and lots of previous paperwork. It has done over 159000 miles so does have a few associated marks as you would expect.

Any viewings will need to observe all social distancing measures and, as the car is a MOT failure, I am afraid any prospective buyers will not be able to test dive it.
