Default Swirl arm repair on D5244T (D5 2005)

Hi everyone, I have an S60 D5 from 2005 (engine code D5244T). Not too long ago I got a message on my dash saying Engine system service required when I'm for exc overtaking someone or asking a bit more from the turbo. Sent it to the local garage and said to me that the intake manifold was all dirty and needed to be cleaned. So I got that done but it still gives me the warning light..
Searched online and replaced my fuel filter, no difference. Then I read something about a swirl arm/flap. But I could only find pictures of the euro 4 engines and I have a euro 3.. Does someone know what the problem could be and how to fix it?

Euro 3 D5 doesn't have swirl flaps.
Fuel filter, collapsing or blowing hoses, blown intercooler, sticking VNT vanes are the most common causes so tick all of those off first.

Engine system service required = check your engine oil level , too full can / does trigger this message with no stored codes in the ECU .
