Default Is RTTI down?

Hi,

Just used the V90 for the first time this week to run a mercy errand for an elderly relative and I noticed that I had no green RTTI roads in my driver view or sensus navigation screens.

I first assumed my 3 data sim had run out but no, all internet connected apps, spotify, weather, tune in etc are all working OK, and I have the 'world' icon at the top of the sensus screen which I recall shows connectivity is good.

Has anyone else noticed this? if not I'm wondering if I have a problem. I've just opened the google maps app on my phone and the RTTI green routes are there OK, most odd?

Paul

You definitely have it set to show free-flowing traffic conditions?

Yes, the settings have been in place since I bought the car almost three years ago. It's always worked perfectly before hence why I thought it may be a network issue.

Me too. Noticed it at lunchtime when I went out for essentials and, surprise, surprise, got most of them. It seems the hoarders have enough for the time being!

I had a orange road on display this morning. Generally I think there are just not enough cars with the system running at the moment to get data. Even for the "green" there need to be frequent cars with the system on the road to get the data.

Interesting. Are the parameters for the system described anywhere in the Volvo manual?

I too thought that there must be something wrong with the 3 SIM or RTTI was down for some reason. What made me come to this conclusion was that in winter there is usually very little traffic on the roads around here but the main roads show green however quiet they are.

All up and running OK this morning during my 'essential' short journey, not much other traffic about so we may never know the real reason RTTI was down!
