I have been for a quick look at an XC90 this morning as a possible replacement for my V70AWD and have a vague idea what you're on about. I wonder if it's possible to just remove the sliding squabs? This would leave a useful below floor space a bit like there is on my V70.

There should be little yellow post-it's in the document with my translations. They should be visible if you hover or click on them. Not sure if your pdf reader can cope with that, if not, then try adobe.com and download their reader.

Works OK on laptop, the yellow boxes are not visible on mobile version of forum.
Thank-you.

Lightbulb Removing third row - now with pictures!

hello all,

I finally got around to documenting my removal of seat 6 and 7 in my XC90 (56 reg)... It took most of a sunny Saturday as I wasn't really sure of what I was doing but as it turns out it wasn't that difficult. I have attached pdf with pictures and some text to support. I hope it will of use to someone in the forum.
Feel free to ask if something is unclear. This should be used in conjunction with the previous pdf I posted with removal instructions from Volvo Denmark.

Have fun!
Kind regards
Benger

It does look like it makes about a foot in depth of extra room, I have never used my 6 and 7 seats but would probably keep them there just in case...but for a canoe of bike more room more stuff..
