Default v40 for sale

I'll be selling/scrapping my v40 1.9d shortly.

Its low mileage, less than 160000 miles!

It is cat C after a rear end shunt (I had it made roadworthy but not cosmetically repaired) and needs track rod ends, a ball joint boot, new clutch (although it still just holds), new turbo and some welding at the least to get it through an MOT (well not the clutch and turbo, it'll still pass without those).

It has black/dk gray leather, electric windows f/r, cruise, climate control, metalic silver.

Any idea about how to get the most money out of it?

Eg do I break it for parts? Ebay auction? Let the scrap man have it for £50?

Any advice or large offers of cash will be much appreciated!

bobthecabbage, hold on that £50 offer!

Here's a link to the place I sold my mot failed X40 1.6 manual and they paid £185 for mine in Sept last year.

www.scrap-mycar.com/scrap-car-form/

There are a few others I bookmarked but this was best (I can dig the others out if you wish)

Basically, you can remove quite a few items that might be useful in the future, eg bits of trim etc and so you might need to work out whether it's better to have some cash now, or more cash, in drips, over a longer period of time.

Space available is a question too (didn't have any myself else I might have kept her longer)
