Hey guys hope everyone's safe,

Just a question as I was driving daily commute until a week ago and now locked down and working from home.
Has anyone stood their car inactive for length periods, is there likely to be any issues, or are you best starting it and going for a run.... Which obviously I'm not really considering.

I would recommend connection to a trickle charge and, if you can, release the parking brakes and chock the wheels. Alternatively, do essential shopping three towns over.

How long do cars sit on garage forecourts unsold?
Unfortunately my car can sit for over a month when I am at sea. I put it on a trickle charger for a day when I get home, Same with the bikes. I've only ever had one bike crap out on me.

Not long after I bought my V90, I went into hospital for a short while and came out with strict instructions not to drive for 3 months, so the car stood from the beginning of July right through until mid October.
I was expecting to have to charge the battery before using it, but it started instantly and ran perfectly. The brake discs were coated with a layer of rust, but it disappeared on the first short drive.
