Doors not locking

Hi All, thank you for letting me being the part of the community.

I have purchased volvo c30 07 recently and i believe there is a slight issues with my doors. When i lock the car, and im near to the card i can open the doors straight away, just by pulling handle. After few hours car locks as normal, and in order to get to the car i have to open doors on the remote again.

I believe this is not normal in. Please advise.

Is this not because your car has keyless entry? If you have the keys on you, it'll open without the need for the buttons on the fob to be pushed.

Push the black button on the door handle to lock and then just pull to unlock? That's how it used to work on my S40 at least.
