Default 1978 244 inj- fuel issue help

Hello,
My 1978 s reg 244GL injection is having problems, she starts fine, and will run and tick over for about 5 minutes (or if i drive her about a mile) till she's warm, then for some reason it will start running really badly missing and conk out, if i touch the throttle she just splutters and dies and then will not restart and run properly till cold. I have changed the coil/ plugs/ rotor/ dist cap etc, and at a total loss..
I only got her recently and she drove home from where i purchased her (about 50 miles) without any issue, i left her overnight, then came out and had this problem.

Thankyou in advance for any advice you can offer,
best wishes
neil

Try spaying over the manifold when it is idleing with carb cleaner. If the engine revs rise then you have an air leak.
Thats a quick easy one to try.

sounds like a fuel problem to me.
blocked fuel filter. large alloy canister, os engine bay, just under drivers side windscreen.
fuel enrichment; cold start; stuck open. looks like an injector, has plug and pipe connecting to it. located in intake plenum on top of engine.(big flat thing 6ins by 14 ins, 4 tubes called runners going to head) start engine, and remove plug.
check all rubber pipes for splits/cracks quite common.
main fuel pump failing, usually makes loud "whiring" noise. listen to it while engine starts to fail. location - n/s under car just in front of rear wheel, rubber mounted on plate approx 9ins by 9 ins.
i have a fully re-conditioned and working system i am no longer using if you want any bits, or the lot!
dont worry its not terminal! no need to scrap it!
phone me if you want help 01495312683

Still sounds ignition related to me. How about the impulse sender in the distributor or the ignition amplifier
