Default ABS / Traction control

Hi I have what seems to be a common problem with the V70 brake system.
My problem is this I have the usual brake assist warning and traction control warnings . Some times the traction control will engage when you turn in it out of road junctions if you let your foot right off the pedal it calms down . The car by the way is a 2007 V70 Se sport
I have changed the ABS sensors and the tone rings everything was great for about 500 miles, I looked on here and some of the advice was to check the tension of the drive shaft bolts all good there. I used to have a Vida dice it no longer works something to do with password being out of date. So I am using an icarsoft vol2 seems a good bit of kit that is giving me a DTC for left front wheel sensor . Question is how can it be faulty when it has not been on that long and it is genuine ate part ? Can the diagnostic tool get a wrong reading if the ABS control module us faulty ? I have also heard that a faulty wheel bearing can give a ABS warning but that doesn't seem to have any play so I have ruled that out for now. I need to get this sorted asap MOT due in April and money is running out any advice will be appreciated thanks for reading.

You can play “guess the part to change”, but this rarely works out cheaper than logical testing.
Several points to note:-
-using VIDA to look at the speed trace from each of the wheel sensors is easily the best first step.
-Just because you fitted new parts, it does not mean that they are correct, functional or undamaged.
-Any connector you disconnected or disturbed could have been damaged in the process.
-rings break because the surface under them rusts and swells. Is here a risk of more rust?
-rings also break because debris and detritus can get drawn up into them.
-a wheel bearing is a very real possibility. Be ruthless, hold top and bottom (assuming the car is well supported) and pull / push looking for play.

Check the cables for continuity as the cables often snap inside the plastic outer.
And then you can get a intermittent contact.
