And the paintwork is described as a plus point?

Paint aside that looks like a solid car.

I really hope the "rad rod effect" as they call it wasn't done deliberately for the charity run. Creating all that surface rust would be vandalism on such an original car.

Assuming the surface rust hasn't caused too much damage on those panels a semi decent respray wouldn't cost a fortune.

I'm 99% sure it was done deliberately.

A few months back, that car was for sale on (very) chopped springs and cosmic alloy wheels... paint was OK then.

oh dear...

a) "rat rod effect" is already falling out of favour, so why even bother
b) it looks awful when done badly, as this is
c) you're either stupid or brave to essentially ruin a car, remove the rare optional alloys then ask top-top money for it

Ah yes, I thought I recognised it but couldn't place it. In fairness it was offered on here for sale aswell as RR but no one stepped up to take it on, I' e a feeling it was a bit frilly round the edges too.

Clearly the paint has been done with brake fluid/paint stripper just casually poured over it, like a jealous ex-gf would do. I don't mind genuine patina, but fake rat looks like crap and who even calls it "rad rod" hmmm the mind boggles.
