They did fit a 1.3 ohc engine in the later ones with a timing chain on it. but not sure if they called it zetec or endura.

Original ka is one of my favourite all time cars. Huge fun, wonderful handling, the spiritual successor of the original mini. My streetka is one of the other cars I really regret selling!!

As for op beetle colour. I love it. I have already specced my used beetle in my head and it's that 'brown' with the big chrome hubcap wheels, convertible with tan roof!!

There was a special edition with exactly that spec, think was called a 66 or something along those lines. Had one in the showroom when we got this.... She didn't like the roof line or back window of the convertible which saved me a few quid.

Had three of them and two type 2 campers, probably my favourite car my 1200 '72 beetle. Would love a slammed, patina rat bug to cruise around in!!
