Default ABS sensor resistance

Hi all,
Driving along the other day, braked and I got an ABS warning, DSTC warning, city safety warning, and a couple of others.
I read up and found it could be a sensor but without a reader didnt know which so trial and error I also read to test the resistance. Problem is I’ve removed both front sensors and one of the back sensors - all read 1 on my multimeter when it’s set to 20k ohms. Tested the multimeter on a resistor and it’s fine.

Why would all three sensors read nothing? Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks

I had same problem and did a diagnostic and found it was rear left wheel sensor
Replaced and after driving cleared all faults
cost me £13 for sensor plus 1 hour to replace
On the faulty sensor I did a resistance reading and it was 0.3 ohms
must admit did not check new one
So checking ohms does not say good or bad
You need to run diagnostic to see which sensor is not working
replace that sensor and hope this cures problem, did for me

I would just pay to get it plugged in and the codes read... it will save you hours in poke and hope diagnosis, it may not be the sensors at all.
