They are still updating it. some on here have lofty expectations from the updates and seemingly like to upset themselves

I mean, they are adding a you've left your car unlocked notification next, what more could you ask for, some people want the moon on a stick

Ok, so just a guess then. There were some big changes earlier in the process, such as adding Apple CarPlay, albeit a wired version, and putting the lane assist button onto the steering wheel, but I’ve not seen anything other than little fixes for best part of a year now.

That said, really looking forward to the car unlocked warning!

[I received 2.14.3 this week and it installed quickly and painlessly. Not sure what has changed, but I just noticed that the stats in the app are now showing the electric motor consumption in place of UK mpg. Would be nice to have both.

Also, the boot (trunk) has now re appeared on the graphic.

Mine finally updated to 2.14.3 today, no noticeable changes.

Just look at the change log of updates from the past 2-3 years. 80% are “minor drivatrain upgrades which don’t affect emissions bla-bla-bla”. AAOS is like a watered down version of Sensus in terms of features and customisation. Also, the SPA cars are coming to an age, many models already discontinued, so I doubt that Volvo will invest much more into their software development.

They are focusing more on EX series of cars which are also using AAOS, but an advanced version of it, so they are not the same architecture.

Yup, mine too, total bypass of 2.13.3 and straight to 2.14.3.
Not driven it since the update was installed to see if there is anything noticeable but I'm not expecting it.

Not a guess; it's an informed opinion which I agree with.

It's obvious that there's almost zero investment in AAOS for SPA cars and in a way that's understandable when you realise that, as a small manufacturer, Volvo's resources are very limited and currently it's struggling with supply problems (leading to cashflow issues), there's rumours of EX90 delays and it's well known that they are trying to offload Polestar to ease their financial situation.

I saw just last week that the next 'big' feature for AAOS on SPA will be a 'Car unlocked' notification. Seriously? That was a feature in Sensus from day 1. AAOS has been around for a couple of years now and that's where we've got to?

Yup mine came today also, app seemed to suggest the starting of the car for pre-heat now works for the 15min pre-heat, not had a chance to test. The app has never been able to start my car.

car unlocked notification came with the last app update, rather than car update it works fine.
