Mpg
My B5 mild hybrid petrol I get a worst of in winter short trip 29mpg to summer long drive 41.5 mpg, the drivers manuel says use high Octane for best mpg and power, I use Tesco Momentum 99 Octane E5 and I get about 7% improvement over standard 95 octane E10 and it ticks over more hushed and smoother

OP: On order: Volvo XC60 B5 Ultimate Black Edition MY24 (AAOS)
and I don't think that you can get a B5D for MY24 and later in the UK.

I am getting around 35 on highway at 80 mph and around 25 in extreme city traffic. I have a V90 CC though, so it might be a bit heavier.

Had mine for 2 years.
Dont do much town driving as we live in a quiet country area. Day to day, cold start generally short trips, I get around 27mpg. Running around on local A roads once warmed up, 32mpg. On a long dual carriageway/ motorway run, 37mpg. |

I know it's irrelevant to this thread really, but just out of interest, my V60 PHEV has returned just under 60 mpg in the six months I've owned it.
This is largely because my commute is 7 miles each way and I charge every day, so the commute is almost invariably soleley electric. When I put it in 'Power' (engine running constantly), even though I drive in a similar fashion to 'Hybrid', I'm lucky to get 30mpg; I've had on one winter's morning when I was entirely out of charge, 18mpg on my 7 mile commute.
