It is slightly different to the earlier ones and 740's, the bottom of the lens should be the same width as the section above, the earlier ones have a smaller bottom section.

Just got back home from Star City meet..sorry guys i had to leave early but work calls...met a lovely bunch of guys today and also had a good nose around others volvo's too...found out where i can get a respray and spare parts should i need any...Volvo meets gotta be worth going along to them...the weather was cold and when it rained it threw it down in buckets!!!..see you again next time.

Very pleasant off-the-cuff-meet

Not a bad word was spoken, plenty of good ones were. A very enjoyable meeting of like-minded Volvo owners. I am sure we will do this again soon.

Unfortunately the original thinker of this meet (modman) did not turn up!! I will not make any derogatory comments until I have read his absentee note, it better be good.

And now for something completely different

Well that is not quite correct, it is likely to be similar is some respects. What are we to do about the next meet, there seemed to be a substantial number of us in favour of repeating a meet like this one. It would be useful to form a loose association with a name, preferably something simple with a mnemonic such as 'MOVE' = Move Over Volvo Emerging. Any other ideas?

I am a newcomer in this part of the country, just over 4 years, so don't know all the possible meeting places. When the weather gets better meeting at a National Trust property would be good for a picnic. On bad weather days being near the shops and eateries makes sense

If we can come up with a good name in this thread satururanus said he will organise a 'sticky thread' for us, that will make it much easier to keep track of the members.

Personally I am not keen on the word 'member', I feel as we are such a loosely formed group it should stay that way. I don't think we want to be encumbered with subscriptions, membership forms or any binding regulations. If you want all that join the Volvo Owners Club, I hear they do a marvelous job.

There is no compulsion to give your input here, but it would be interesting to read your comments
