Got the bolt at last! Sealed the light and now have the boot rubber out ready to be sealed. I have read the "I have a leak post" so it would be rude not to do the tailgate seal
Also received a Crossland fuel filter and some underbody sealant so much to be done as the weather brakes.

Default Finally got some Arcadias!

Many thanks to Garry (SIAMBLUE ) I picked up a and fitted a set of Arcadia's to my Phase1 T4 looks pretty sweet after a clean too. Roll on summer time so I can get on with some maintenance (I don't do cold and rain).

Got my T4 out of storage where its been for a year.

Started first turn of the key on its own battery power....then the battery went flat and it woudnt start again.

Had to use my MX5 to start it. Yes I own an MX5, would anyone like to buy it?

In preparation for upcoming big service (due at 284K I think?), scouted for prices for timing belt & water pump & fuel/air filters from FRF, total just over £200 with the discount, but as it's £90 for the water pump, which is the only part I don't need to be genuine, I'm guessing I could definitely get a water pump cheaper elsewhere. ECP only have Circoli (£38) and KWP (£45) pumps listed. Anyone recommend them (or an alternative?)

Also, while ECP has a 30% sale this weekend, I've ordered Lemfoerder tie rod and track rod end for the offside, in the hope that's what is causing the steering wheel to sometimes wobble up to 1" at slow speed and vibrate awfully at high speed. (Hope it's not the CV joint that needs replacing. I'd expect the CV to be clunking loudly whilst turning, if it was going, but I am also mindful that occasionally it seems to tick quietly when slowing down to a halt, and so I do suspect it could become a problem soon, but I don't think it's the cause of the wobble).

Still haven't worked out what the "ah!" noise is, but I suspect either the AC motor (which sometimes chirps a bit at slow speeds) or the front left caliper might be sticking occasionally? I definitely hear a creak occasionally from outside the car when setting off on a cold/wet day (not the same noise) so I think one of them is still sticking. (I have spares.)

Also ordered 6L of Shell Helix Ultra from Opie Oils (10% off with a voucher code) total £28 delivered (cheaper than ECP even with the discount!) Still really wish I could find the 4.5L of oil that's somewhere in the house......

I miss my 5, such a fun little go kart of a car, surprisingly nippy for a 1.6 too, made even better when my mate upgraded to the 1.8 (I bought his old one) and mine was faster haha
