Remote start
I love the idea of this for those hot summer and cold winter days. How can it be added, is it only with the VOC pack or is it available on its own? Don't seem to be able to see too much about it on the Volvo web site. Thanks.

One handy thing for hot days. As you walk towards the car, blip to open and hold the unlock blip down for a few seconds. This lowers all of the windows in the car. It is not aricon but it does take the worst of the oven effect away when you open the car doors as the trapped, baked air has been released.
Unfortunately this is completely ineffective in winter. What I would say is that if the XC60 is anything like my current V60 then the heating system warms up the car very quickly in winter, way quicker than my previous VAW car which was painfully slow. Yes pressing a button from inside your house would be lovely to start the car on a snowy morning but the current set up is not the worst.

what about a Remote start, fuel-driven heater, maybe this is what the dealer was referring to.
or is this the same thing.. what I mean is a heater that can be operated remotely and not reliant upon the car being started up.. |
