I've got the earlier XC60 D5 it got a Polestar upgrade when I got it. I was coming from a slightly older XC60 D5 without the Polestar.
Yes it makes a difference both in Comfort & Sport modes with it being most noticeable in Sport. The Engine seems to have more punch & in comfort mode holds onto the gears slightly longer which actually seems to smooth out progress over standard. In Sport mode it takes off like a scalded cat & really does hold the car in gear when pressing on. I would also add in Normal driving it's not changed the Mpg by anything noticeable
