Default XC90 mk1 replacing Mk2

Picking up my new to me 12 plate XC90 executive at the weekend.
One owner with full Volvo service history. Just about run in with 95k on the clock.
Downside is I’m saying goodbye to my 18 plate mk2 XC90 which is going back from a two year lease shortly.

It’s going to be hard adjusting!

Interesting decision, what made you go back to the 1st generation rather than getting a new lease?

A 2012 Executive will still be a very nice place to be.

Hardly slumming it.

I deliberately bought the last of the line R-Design rather than the MK2 model as to me the MK1 is a nicer shape, not so aggressive at the front. I hope to keep mine for a long time.

My job is changing along with my finances hence deciding to not renew a lease, despite the garage trying desperately for me to sign up for another one.
Really looking forward to owning my own car after a few years again.

Plus I’ll let my wife drive this one now as it’s cheaper!😜

Cheers.
