Yeah, I love these wheels, also I didn't pay much for them. But they might get fitted sooner than expected, I just blew one of my front tires a hour ago. If I have to buy new tires then I'm going to buy a set for the new wheels.

Well, I hope you get what I actually meant. English isn't my native language so there might be some mistakes in my posts.

Enjoyed driving to work smooth engine , the handling isn't the smoothest in s40s far as I can tell esp with my old suspension but makes for a fun drive as one is not fully insulated from the road feel every pebble and rut as I go.

After my boot struts going from absolutely fine to slowly dropping to absolutely no effort at all (the boot fell onto my head) ive ordered a pair of new ones, 11 quid off ebay, that'll do, i cant believe now fast they've given up, i've had cars in the past where they've been weak but not deteriorated any further, but these went from fine to useless in under 2 weeks.

Default boot struts V40

Clarkey, I'd be interested to hear how you get on with the struts. I changed mine a few months ago. The new ones were fine, but completely straight. The old ones had a kink, near the top, to allow for the angle of the round pin they fit on to. I bent them as far as I dared, and they work well, but I wondered whether they should have had that kink in.

My new ones had the kink at the top end just like the old ones did, I was amazed how quick and easy they are to change, the only tricky bit was trying to hold the boot lid and fit the new strut and hold a mobile phone in my teeth to light up the area all at the same time haha
