V60 T6 Phew Recall

Got a recall for the new car today.
Potential issue where the combustion engine may not start due to a software error. This could result in a loss of propulsion should the battery be drained.
Remedy is download modified software which will eliminate the software error.

Anyone suffered this issue or received the recall??

Car booked in next Tuesday. Hoping its wait and collect, as I've no means of getting home.

Got the car booked in via recall team only to get call from local dealer saying my car had already had the software update applied in December. Car totally failed due to flat batteries and need volvo assistance to gain access to car. Stoneacre later collected vehicle and "fixed" the issue AND installed the new software required for current recall.
Seems strange it took 3 months to recall a vehicle when the issue and remedy were known about in December.... .

Recall is R10198 and some 15000+ vehicles are affected in the USA. V60;S90,XC60,XC90 phev's.

can't find any references on this site, or other UK but swedspeed as thread from Oct last year.
