Tunein App will not work after upgrade - Page 6

An excellent Internet Station that I constantly listen to is called NME1.
It has zero adverts, zero talking - just 100% music that is mainly Indie, Garage & Rock.

Sounds good. Will add it to the car system.

Just had another play with it and found the Browse tab to find lots of genre and loads of stations in each genre.

Only had my car 26 months and first time I have used tunein. I noticed a sign in tab but it works without signing in so what is the advantage of signing up.

If you create a TuneIn account (it's free) you're favorite radio stations will be visible on all platforms (desktop, mobile phone and in the car).

I am confused, I have voc etc and a data card fitted which works well. I have no option to down load the tunein app, I have only a choice of around 9 apps all of which were pre down loaded,when I select new apps ,there aren't any showing? I don't have car play , is that the reason? The apps I do have , google search etc work well. Thanks for any advice.

I don't have CarPlay but TuneIn still works. It's hard to say what the problem might be; perhaps TuneIn is no longer available on MY19 or 60 Series cars or for new installs or... ?

You might have to ask the dealer for advice.

My two month old S90 doesn't even have TUNEIN app available to download so I assumed it had been withdrawn.

No, it is still not avaiable, nor any new apps ,just the handful from when I picked the car up. The NW Europe map updated itself today, so all is working in the update dept.
