I think we are going in (ever decreasing?) circles.

Check out post #11 in this thread.

Default Doing my head in!

Afternoon guys. Off to France next week and have been looking for advice re what I do and don’t have to do re my lights.

I *think* I have concluded that I have nothing to do based on thread and other threads. Ask dealer and he said just bring it in before you go... 10 miles away so not doing that if there’s jack to sort out.

VOLVO XC60 R-DESIGN LUX NAV D5 AWD 2015

Has the Xeon lights that follow steering on dipped beam. No option in settings to change anything.

Just leave ‘as is’. Right?

Got all me fluorescent jackets, triangles and stuff. Toll tag attached to Windscreen... just this to tick off the list.

Cheers

Your handbook gives details about this , it will say what to do if anything . There are 4 options altogether depending on the car .

You need to be aware that this thread does not apply to your car. This is for MY 2018+ XC60s

Enjoy your trip.

Default S90 lights

I spoke with Volvo customer services today about the lights on my car (2017 S90 D4 Momentum - standard LED lights) and they said the lights sense when you're driving on the right and adjust themselves as necessary..... Not sure I believe them but that's what they said :-)

I doubt it. Afaik, the standard LED headlamps only have self-levelling, not any form of automatic beam adjustment (unlike the Adaptive version).

The confusion over this simple issue and the lack of clarity from Volvo is astonishing.
