Default Volvo C70 Convertible 2.0t Manual 2002

Volvo C70 Convertible 2.0T GT M/T

Metallic Grey
Cream Leather
2.0 LPT Manual
99800 miles
MoT until December 2015
Dyanudio 13 Speaker Stereo

Just been serviced with fully synthetic oil, air filter, cabin filter, genuine Volvo spark plugs and oil filter, wipers

Electric roof
Electric windows and mirrors
Climate control
Cruise control
Heated seats
Auto dimming rear view mirror
Trip computer
Traction control
Genuine Volvo wind deflector
Dynaudio Surround Sound Stereo – 4 x 100W amp powering 10 speakers, centre dash speaker powered by the head unit + 2 subwoofers behind the rear seats each with their own amps. Suffice to say, the sound is pretty amazing.

Car is in good condition overall and looks very smart. There’s a few minor marks and a scratch on the front right bumper corner, but nothing to detract from the appearance. The interior is in great order with excellent condition seats. The cream contrasts well with the dark grey exterior. The door seals have just been rejuvenated, which makes a big improvement to the wind noise. The hood works perfectly and has no leaks, though there are one or two scuffs (see pictures).

Mechanically excellent – the engine pulls well (and sounds lovely). Economy is surprisingly good – I get 30mpg around the lanes and across the roundabouts of Milton Keynes and 35 is easy to achieve on a run. Gearbox and clutch engages smoothly. The ride is quiet and smooth + I’ve also fitted a new Volvo strut brace to reduce the scuttle shake.

The early service history has unfortunately been lost with the service book, but I do have invoices for work that’s been done over the recent years + all the invoices for the parts I’ve bought for the car. There were no advisories on the MoT.

The car is currently running on freshly refurbished 16” Volvo Mimas wheels with Vredestein Snowtrac winter tyres, however it originally came on 17” multispoke wheels with excellent treaded tyres (very recent). It’s your choice which you prefer (or subject to negotiation, you can buy the extra set).

I bought the car thinking I need a 4 seat convertible following the birth of my second son. However, over Christmas, I’ve realised we actually need a full 5 seater to accommodate visiting grandparents etc, so I’m looking for a Citroen Berlingo Multispace (preferably with opening roof, or at least the Modutop) – a long shot that you'd be looking to trade one of those for a Volvo C70, but if you don’t ask….

Viewing is welcome and test drive possible with proof of insurance – otherwise I’m quite happy to demonstrate the car. We’re just north of Milton Keynes (about 10 mins from J15 of the M1).

£1595

Bump and price drop to £1495

Also to mention that the cambelt was done at 69k in 2010.

Private plate included; great for those called Horace Roberto Zulu. Alternatively, the original plate begins FR52... you could sell this one and return it to its original.
