New owner- option list?

Hello everyone, new first time Volvo owner here. Looking to find the list of option my car came with as new. 2008 XC90 VIN YV4CZ852781446998
Any help is appreciated.

There is a thread on a sticky in the General part of the forum where you can ask a kindly disposed dealership chap exactly this........go and take a look.

Hi,
My limited understanding is that you need your car to be read with Vida. This is a Volvo specific dignostic tool, that runs on a PC or laptop and attaches into your diagnostic port on your car via an interface called dice. Someone local to you may be able to do this for you, or you will need to take it to your local Volvo garage for them to do it for you.

UThe Vida/dice system will read your car's ECU (electronic control unit) and will list all the values/options on your car.

I doubt if just the vin number will help.,
When the car is connected via a dice interface to Vida, it will read the car's configuration, but it must connect to do this.

That is my understanding, and how it works on mine, and that Vida is the only diagnostic system that can do this.

Not quite right John - Marc Tilling from Bells in Northampton will look up Volvos via VIN or Reg and give the list of factory options in the car and a Volvo service record as well.......

do you happen to know if Marc Tilling of Bells still is willing to provide more details about a car ? I remember having made use of that thread three years ago and just coming across your post I noticed that the link does not work anymore.
I only have the licenseplate of my new car and I need to know where the one owner car I bought was serviced in the past ........

Forgive me for being wrong but I thought that pre 2015 anyone could provide a vin and get the spec of any Vida machine. Or am I wrong there??
