Default C70 automatic convertible.2000 reg. Abs unit

Hi all, the c70 been diagnosed as an abs unit that keeps forgetting its memory, and experience help advice appreciated please as to options, really need a new part ultimately but maybe contacts on here could hopefully help

They are very easy to repair at home with a soldering iron. If that is not something you wish to do there are repair companies available (they vary wildly in cost from £40-100+, but haven't heard negative reviews about any of them). Alternatively, places like Shemtek sell refurbed ones, or you can just get a replacement from a breaker.

If you look in the dedicated 850, C/S/V70 forum section you will find a recent post showing which modules are cross-compatible, as well as older posts detailing who refurbs them, as well as full DIY pieces on how to repair them.

Yeah the mechanic says it's not communicating correctly..
Forgetting what's in its brain... that's old age for you, and decent breakers in the north midlands you would recommend? Be no nice to know cross compatible ones as I have one potential on a 2003 identical model car, but different codes

8619537 ... got an offer of this one which is closest to compatible one on the list 8619538 but my original one digit out too? You think it will be ok?
