Default Roadhawk dc 4

Hi everyone.....anybody had the volvo recommended roadhawk dc 4 fitted yet?
My xc40 going in to Glasgow volvo on the 13th for a fitting and was wondering if anyone had had one fitted yet and how good or bad it is....ie ,interference with dab radio ,size of actual model
I did ask Glasgow about interference with radio but they've not fitted one yet so couldn't comment!,so any info would be appreciated!

On a completely different note....I've just purchased this car and noticed the passenger mat doesn't have studs to clip in to!(current mats in it the passenger mat doesn't have the holes to clip in!),is this the way now!?

Looking forward to comments

Regards
Paul 😊

I’m interested in hearing any feedback you may have, or if anyone else has any reviews or info on the DC4…. My Volvo dealer wouldn’t recommend any dash cam earlier in the year (again because of interference issues). However as this DC-4 is fairly new (released late 2023) and being advertised on the Volvo website with fitting, I’m hoping this is going to be compatible?! 🙏

Hi Rulphy,
So had my dc4 fitted on Friday and have had a few problems.....firstly it wasn't hard wired so I believe if it was it would be working better at least, the app seems to not link correctly with the cam,I see what the camera sees live but theirs files their of previous journeys but none open to show anything, it also seems to have affected my Internet connection, I've tried resetting but to no avail,my music apps(spotify+amazon)wouldn't work yesterday but seem OK today!.....I've tried to speak to parts at Glasgow today but waiting on someone getting back to me,I'll give them a chance to rectify it all but if it comes to it I think I'll be telling them to dismantle and give me my money back!.....ps I paid 300 to supply and fit!

I have very nearly the same problem. My Volo distributor said my XC 90 was the first they had fitted with a Roadhawk DC-4

Thumbs down My roadhawk

Had mine fitted at a Volvo garage after receiving a message from Volvo paid £300 . Not worked since being installed end of Nov . Why should I take out the sim every time I want to view , total rubbish . Going to ask for it to be removed and total refund

Have you talked to your dealer? Volvo UK withdrew the camera recently and are re-evaluating the newer model I presume..

Was Volvo installing both front and rear cameras or only the front one? I've noticed that roadhawk dc4 website shows that rear camera is available?

The Roadhawk DC3 was supplied to Volvo UK dealers to fit to customer's cars from about 2018 , so I would think it has been tested !
