Whats the story with this now? Is the R sport kit for the 240 still available?

Hi Ben,

I still have all of the R sport kit, and have not totally made up my mind what to do with it as yet? I love my Amazon and my 940 sports+ and I guess i'm unlikely to ever do a 240 project with those keeping my hands full in the 'parts i want list'.

I sold the other 240 parts, I got messed about lots on the forum here! so popped them on ebay where they flew out the door, you would have thought this was the place to sell Ultra rare Volvo kit?

I also had a pair of 240 R sport Shocks still in the front legs which I sold to the guy who had the spoiler, he bought it instantly and said he had never seen another one, nor had I , but on here it seemed a waste of time...most bizarre.

Ok cool, well could you pm me a list of what you have and if you were to sell it how much you would take for it? Im not a messer and have an ultra rare CAL 242 im putting back together so rare parts would be going to a good home.

I'll also bump this thread up. How much exactly do you want for the parts? I havent fully read each post, so im not 100% sure if you have just one turbo kit, one and a few spares, etc

Basically, id like to know how much for one complete turbo kit to make my B21A into a B21AT

Yes I still have them...but it is not a full kit..but I do have a number of parts...

If you are interested in the history? here goes....

A local Volvo enthusiast used to run a business in London..round the Corner from TAD ( Tungstone Auto Developments) run by Ralph Steiner.

They offered New/used Volvo cars as well as the R-Sport tuning kits..

When TAD packed up..this guy purchased whatever they had left...which was 2x 'incomplete kit's...

He fitted 1xkit to his very early 240 GLT Estate..when it was just two years old, many years later I bought this car off him...which is how I came to know him.

The other New boxed parts were kept wrapped.

When I scrapped the GLT Estate..I took of the Turbo..Carb etc....

I have photo's as per this thread if you would like to see them?

I have a few guy's who want to offer me top money...just for the R-Sport Turbo gauge??

I gave up on my 240 project...and have become more interested in my 940 Sports Edition and also my Amazon....

Not sure what to do with them..I know they are Rare..but also realise the KIT's are not full kits...also the Manifold and Air-filter housing are New (have the used ones of these too).

But at least things like the Carb,Dizzy are Brand New/still in packing.
I also have 1x Brand new R-Sport-Turbo 240 Down-pipe..I very recetly gave the used one away to a Volvo enthusiast...

So I can't expect crazy money for the parts..but if I only get offered a few ££ then I may as well keep them?

Hmm maybe you are in Sweden..Norway..where thereare nice parts for my Amazon (kpz wheels and parts etc) and 940 unusual parts??

Just seen from your other posts..you are in Denmark..and not after 'Turbo' R-Sport kit...sorry..

I sold the R-Sport front suspension..spoiler...sway bars and struts etc etc a while back....

Did the honourable thing and tried them on here first...nothing! so popped em' on to eBay and there was a lot of interest..and they sold at once.

I wish i had seen this post when you posted it... all the things you sold on e bay is what i am looking for. I allready have turbo in my cars (B21ET)..

what kind of money were you thinking of for the turbo parts anyway?

What is unusual parts for 900 cars?
You could give me a list, and then i will see what i can find.

I am thinking of buying an Amazone 123GT, i know a guy who has a car.. he have stored it for 25 years.. it need restoration
