Manual C70 T5 for sale.
After a lot of thought, I have decided to sell my manual C70 T5. It is a 1999 car in Moondust metallic with a full black leather interior. It has 79000 miles with lots of history.
Good points: Very straight bodywork with a superb undamaged interior. Refurbished Canisto alloys (anthracite and chrome), with 4 new tyres. Bill from last year at 73000 miles for Volvo timing belt kit, new battery, plugs, fuel/air filters etc. Bill totals nearly £800. Mot until 25/4/2014. Tax until end of October this year. Front genuine Volvo strut brace. Wood/leather steering wheel and new Volvo gearknob. New driver master window switch. The windows seal perfectly with no wind noise unlike some other C70's I have owned. Bad points: The engine management light is on. I don't know why, it only happened after I stopped using the car on a regular basis. Only done about 300 miles since the mot. The car runs perfectly with plenty of power and no strange noises from the engine, gearbox or anywhere else. Probably needs rear brake pads although this was not mentioned on the mot. Any questions please PM me for a phone number. The private plate will be removed this week. Sorry for the lack of photos, I am useless with computers although I should be able to e mail then if required. I am asking £1150 ovno. Last edited by kwk; Jun 29th, 2013 at 23:26. |

Hi,
Engine management light in this instance is most likely a loose connection in one of the (sensor cable) cables from the ETM...try at least wiggling them or maybe even unplugging, cleaning and re-plugging. If there are problems with the engine running rough etc...then this is not the problem! MB4 |

Thanks for that. The engine runs perfectly. I haven't really got the time to investigate.
