Firstly, and rather belatedly I have to say that my problems caused by a change of computer were resolved seamlessly, and I received a first class service from OTP throughout.

Arcturus, when I use it I just pop the disc in; it runs automatically; opens, and I go to where I want.

I don't have anything permanent from the disc on the computer (and have never bothered or tried), and so there no need to instal anything again except pop the disc in and run it .... all this is as long as you have the copyright pdf reader (LockLizard) installed permanently on your computer which is part of the initial disc set-up procedure/authentication process.

Pelem .... see Chris Wickers first post starting this tread and contact Ron Kirby of the Club. If you join the Club you save about £8 (I seem to recall!!).

Bob.

workshop manuals do me just fine i canny justify lining copyright protection as the cost they say is to do the copyright protection in the first place and nothing they do will ever stop it so they waste all that $$$$ for nothing

good old book do me lovely and if that fails pdf files work very !! well which are readly available on the net

@ tcog

trust me dont waste your money there is nothing more in these discs than there is in the PDF files thats on the net for free , one advantage the PDF have is you can use them as you see fit and as much as you want on unlimted pc`s

if they offered more support which is not possible as the workshop manuals where spot on with very ! clear diagrams all with part numbers so if your needing any vist this link and select the model you require for free

http://www.volvoclubthailand.com/cgi...num=1187902009

knowledge is power and you have nothing to lose gain them for free and if you want to part with some cash $$$£££ then do so and come back and comment whats better between the two choices if i was a betting man i would say you would agree with me no better off and with limits on the paid option

i have no info on the paid options ie links or way of buying them as i have no need for that info so sorry i canny help on that side of things

*** im using the pdf files with a graphical interface and search feature ( finding spares at all the proper outlets ie volvo spares dealers ) if in doubt code it to suit your needs *** use the part numbers to search/ reference the retailers database ( if availible ) simple query and ouput display within the interface but then that company dont offer anything like that so i quess its a case of if you need summit done right you have todo it youself

happy testing

Smile Re LockLizard licence

Hi Chris,

Many thanks for the DVD has been VERY useful several times now BUT
Is it possible that Volvo might grant us permission to get the right to have two instances of LockLizard registered?

I have it on my desk top and have been using it here most of the time but today it would have been useful if I could have had a licence on my laptop too so that I could have that by my side with the car? (just sometimes as often happier to come in from the damp and cold

BTW have not forgotten pics to go with article

All best,

Richard

i must be missing something here, these are only driver manuals, no service or workshop info at all!!!
maybe it has changed over the years
Wonder if there are any otp's left for the 700's
