Found out anything new about your car?
I saw this type of thread on the Lexus forum, and it was surprising how many features/frustrations were not in the (huge!) manual.
I couldn't find a similar thread on here, so here goes. I found yesterday that if I put the four way flashers on while the ignition was on, I could hear the clicks, and the double arrows flashed on the instrument panel, but with the ignition off, the flashers worked, but there was no indication inside the car. Never had that on previous cars, is it normal on Volvos? I also discovered that I need to press the brake pedal at the start of the roof lowering process, but it doesn't have to be held down throughout. Over to you...

I think the only new thing I have found out about my car, is that he badly needs a clean. But since finding out I can roll all the windows down using my fob, I might of been doing this a lot before I get in just to let in some nice fresh crisp air in the car

I thought I'd read a similar thread here as it was where I learned about the two little tabs at the back of the base of the front passenger seat which allows the seatback to be laid forwards. Trouble was I didn't find out how to remove the headrest until after I'd been to IKEA and struggled to get the very long box in!

Headrest under the glove compartment also serves to keep the seat folded down - flat

The tool to remove the fuses in the fuseboxes inside the car is stored in the fusebox under the bonnet.
Along with some spare fuses if you are lucky!

The six speed manual gearbox holds 2.2 litres of oil not the 1.9 my book tells me.
Yes I found out when the 2 litres of oil I had baught failed to fill the box to the filler hole. Paul. |
