i would suspect that your car would weigh between 1700 kg - 1750 kg.

1090 is my car nose weight. towbars state a 75kg max nose weight so i can legaly tow 1280kg without test cheers for all your advice by the way

1090 is ya front axle lol . the noseweight will be 75 kg. i have just spilt ma coffee

that about right if you can keep the car weight down you can up the kg on the trailer.

just to make you aware the car should be heavier that the trailer, so that the tail is not wagging the dog.

yeah already read about the 85% i spent the last 2 years towing my race car with my bmw 5 series estate till it broke so i went volvo

The rules are daft arent they...you can tow a 1500kg boat with a 1500kg Golf yet you cant tow the same 1500kg with a 2500kg Land Rover (which is a safer combination)
