V70 2.4 r design shocks advice needed.

Hi everyone, newbie looking for advice here .Rear shocks are kaput on my 2009 D5 and the new ones are £1300 a pair !! Any advice on a cheaper way to fix this , thanks in advance , Steve

Are they Nivomats, perchance?

Shopping around or even ordering from abroad you may get them a bit cheaper, but they'll still cost a big chunk of lolly.
