Default Water in passenger footwell 2007 d5 xc90

Hi,
I have all of a sudden started to get rain coming in the passenger footwell. It was an inch deep at one point.

I cleaned some debris out of the vents once I lifted the bonnet up but still the water came in, albeit not as bad, but then again, the rain wasn't as bad.

Any ideas on where to check, clean etc. Are they prone to leak in a specific place?

Thank you

The old favourite is sunroof drains, if you have one.

There are quite a few posts on here in which wet carpets have been blamed on inadequate or failing windscreen sealant. Have a search, as it covers various models. Our V70 hadn't developed wet carpets, but in some situations I was getting the occasional trickle down the inside of the windscreen. Some dealers have fixed this FOC, but others not it seems. I had my screen removed and resealed by a local company due to time constraints. Good luck in tracing the problem.

Edit: Just reading another thread and came across a link to a YouTube channel with a video covering this problem...
