  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

What sort of "Play" do you have? Is it the bar into the socker? Or the mounting underneath? Get the car up and have a look yourself.

Any "play" will cause problems later on
Hi, the play is between the detachable ball and the socket, about 2.5mm,
holding the ball, it moves both up and down and from side to side. Thanks, Keith.

Sounds like it isn't locked in properly - do you have the original instructions??

If you don't get the right order of pressing, unlocking, mounting it will wobble. I will see if I can figure out what the combination is tonight when I take mine off.

Hi, If it is`nt installed correctly in its socket, it won`t lock, another dealer has looked at it, removed the ball and refitted it, and confirmed that there is about 3mm play, which he was supprised at, but refered me back to the supplying dealer.
