I had a full software update on the V90 last month (I now have the orange --> red steering wheel warning on Pilot Assist), so can only assume it's a hardware upgrade?

Mmm, might ask about software update on my next service.
I have orange warning but don't really notice the red. It's green > orange > grey for me.

I prefer to keep them guessing whether it is an unmarked police car. Its great sport to wear a white shirt so that nothing is given away should they overtake and investigate, which many do.

I'm finding the adaptive cruise control on my V90 a bit of a strange one. I absolutely love it on single carriageway roads like the A66, but once I hit dual carriageways, I don't like it quite so much. I find it a bit over cautious when pulling out to overtake (even with indicating) and when cutting back in, it sometimes starts braking before I've even left the outside lane. I keep thinking people behind me must see the brake lights flash and think I'm a complete moron. It's great if you're happy to sit there behind something else, or the motorway is quiet, but once you need to change lanes a lot, I go off it rapidly.

I've also just ordered one, could well be a cheap deterrent.

Received and applied my label today and it is a good quality one, due to my car having dark tinted windows it is not as noticeable as I would have liked it to be.
I must add they sent it in very good envolope with thick card inside to prevent it being bent, very good ebay seller.
I was in a bit of a quandary about where to place it and in the end put it at top of window.
