No. Volvo started to fit them to P2 chassis diesels in 2005

Assuming he is referring to a 'particulate' filter (DPF): https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dies...iculate_filter

Unfortunately, quoting Volvo online manuals is not going to win any pub quiz questions over the correct terminology.

Of course not. Only your mentality is looking for a 'win' . What you should worry is not being arrogant about others peoples comments or even mistakes. In my opinion, you are good, on volvo issues, but not that good, or even the only one that knows how to. And you are very far to be the Volvo King that some viewers call you. Unless you think we are going to quote Simon Jones instead of Volvo on a Volvo forum..... Its the second time you are disrespectful about peoples comments.
After this eg. What you should do is leave it alone. Because by the look of it both terms are used. So lets move on.
Thank you for your input about the filter, that my car doesnt have.
Happy New Year.

Some people are like that, like to be rude. Just ignore them.

It is a particle filter as well, that’s what it does, I think everyone knows what you are talking about.
