Default Mussel Blue

Am I the only owner of a Mussel Blue XC60?

When I dropped off my old car before leaving for our trip there was a new V60 in a metallic white / silver / beige colour. I thought that was a fantastic colour but the dealer informed me that it is only available on the V60.

No, one of the VOC directors has a Mussel Blue Momentum XC60!

Mate, I was near Selfridges Oxford Street last weekend and there was a lovely Mussel Blue XC60 parked outside. I think it is a great colour that suits the bigger Volvos and it is rare indeed. That's just my taste of course.

On a slightly different subject, saw a black S90 driving through Old Bond Street with the plate MEX1 today. A diplomat perhaps? It is in a D4 Momentum trim but looks an expensive and as good as the nearby Bentleys...

Pick ours up on Monday. Off to detailers for ING kenzo (bet I spelt that wrong) then off to Liverpool on Thursday to see the world museum exhibit on terracotta warriors. Working way back via the NEC cycle show.

I like the sound of that! Drive the new motor and feel good about it! Don't waste too much time worrying about what stuff to use to protect the paint etc. I can't stand my mates who ask me about that sort of stuff. The car will look great for years whatever you use to wash it or clean it.

It's good to see more Volvos on the road. They really have got their recent designs spot on. At the same time, I don't notice seeing many new Jaguars around. Jaguar drivers all getting Volvos I wonder...

Crockers. We went to that exhibition soon after it opened and came out feeling it failed to live up to its expectations - it was much smaller than I expected and a large % of the exhibition area was not totally relevant.
But whilst you are there you must pop into the Liverpool Central Library right next door that has an amazing mix of old & new areas both well worth a visit.

Then enjoy your drive home in the new XC60.......PA is totally awesome. Will be putting it to a proper test on Sunday on the M5 through the narrow lanes of the road works on the elevated section near the M6 intersection.

That's a very true point, so much so that my local dealer is having a new problem - just what to do with an ever increasing No of Jaguar's, BMW's, Audi's & Mercedes's taken in part exchange.
Sounds a nice problem to have though.......

Ditto. BMW 3/420D, A4/5, Q3/5, as good as they are, are pretty much everywhere nowadays. Very pleased that Volvo are now a proper alternative to the German and JLR (in terms of design and branding).

It's my first Volvo, but probably not my last.
