Heater control flap motor plug
The plug for the heater control flap motor is all cracked. It's the plus right next to the handbrake foot lever. Can I buy this separate or need to make one myself? The pins and housing is unusable .
Thanks

The listing shows the connector socket on the actuator but not the lead - Breakers year perhaps?
Good luck Cheers Dave |

Have a look at RS components, CPC/Farnell etc or almost any electronics suppliers, most plugs, Molex, JST, AMP, Supaseal etc are available in small quantities, identifying the manufacturer and type finding it is usually problem.
Also check with your Volvo dealer, there may be a repair kit available. If its just the plug then all you need is the housing as most pins can be removed and reused ... getting the pins out without damaging them may require the removal key .... check eBay for sets of those ... usually about £5 for a set of 20+ keys. Hope it helps.

Most car manufacturers have pins and leads available as spare parts, specifically for repair of any week / burnt contacts. Contact your Volvo parts department.
However, they may not have the connector body (housing) This a trip to a breakers hard with a pair of side cutters may be your easiest solution.

Could you share a photo of your cracked plug? Maybe something like plastic cement would do the trick?
