On Call Deactivated
All,
I've decided to reactivate the On Call service on my 08 XC 90 as I think its the right things to do as I'll be keeping her for a long time. 2 issues: 1) VIDA Reports that the Sim has been removed - where do I find the place to insert a new sim? 2) I need a PIN on the On Call app which tells me to call the dealer... Any help welcomed - I did a search but couldn't find the answers; hence the post now. Nigel. |

Ok so I need to insert a new sim - I have looked on VIDA and I see the module but I'm unclear where it is - is it in the roof by the rear view mirror?

no , it is built into the ON Call control unit .

Ok,
So I have "On-Call Deactivated" on the dashboard and the Oncall service can not connect to my car. I have re-registered the car in my name but there is a communication fault. How can I reactivate the car - I cant see how to do this in VIDA? Nigel. |

On Call have confirmed that my modem in the car has been deactivated - so the question is can i reactivate it from VIDA ?

Have you pressed the on call button for 3 seconds to talk with the operator? Your dealer can do all that is required , it needs the previous owner's details removing, and your details adding ..
