I'm tempted to go from 940 to 740 US spec headlights... I think they look pretty good with black surrounds.

Default 700s - of course I've got 'em.

Be great if you guys on this old thread would take part in the (sticky) poll at the head of the 700/900 general - many of you have not...if you are a 700 enthusiast it would be great to have your support.

If we could only generate the enthusiasm evident in the 200 and 300 sections.

I've two (both 1986s on a C plate), a 745GL and 744GL.

Prufrock.

Chesh your 740 looks hard! Blacker is definitely the way to go.

There's a really clean F reg estate near me, same owners from new, immaculate it is.

When I was 18 I really wanted a C reg 740 turbo saloon a friend of my Dads had. He was struggling to get rid of it, this would have been about 1999. It was awesome but I couldn't insure it.

We've got an old 740 estate, a right workhorse that still get's used on a regular basis usually for carrying messy things! I still love driving it though
