Some excellent pics and comments here by those that were able to attend BKV this year - thanks. I am just sorry that I couldn't get there.

While I might have missed it somewhere in this thread I was wondering which cars won in BKV (VOC Members) for this Class and, did anybody tally up the total number and breakdown by sub-model of all cars present in the general line-up (attending and competing) of 700/900 and 90's that came along to represent this Section.

Thanks to all for this thread and cheers, Bob.

We had a great selection of 700s yesterday. 780 saloon was the star car, 740 saloons and estates, limos and modified versions. 7 cars in total so a good effort by their owners.

Yes, I think everyone was chuffed about the turnout from this section. And 4 D24's has to be a record as well - pity I couldn't make it 5.....

Just shows what can be achieved when we work as one big happy family - 740, 760, 780, 940, 960, 90 - red block, white block, green block, PRV rather than bicker about which variant is best.....

I don't think there's much bickering about which is best, but we all have our preferences and experiences and opinions. I have suffered some very nasty criticism in the past for my enthusiasm for the 700 series (I was Register Keeper). What I have been is consistent in that enthusiasm over many years.

A happy family (sic) would be achievable, if it were possible to remember WE ARE ALL VOLVO ENTHUSIASTS.

Jon.

Absolutely gutted I had to miss this due to family commitments. Will definitely be there next year in my 960 - and there's a LOAD more 900s than at Beaulieu

Cheers
