I just fitted a FRAM fuel filter to my 99 v40 1.9T4 (I assume they will be the same!). There were no Fram numbers listed, but you can cross reference from Crossland which were listed! That's how my dad got mine for me...
Hope this helps! |

Due to it being a turbo I put on an OEM filter for peace of mind and it only needs changing every 80k miles. Including Vat it worked out at Euro 41.86 or GBP 29.81.
OEM Part # 308179977 Alternative filters at PFS for a much better price.: http://www.partsforvolvosonline.com/...oducts_id=2591 BTW...how much is the Fram filter?

Fram filter cost me £18 (but that's off dad who works in trade, so probably that + VAT normally as I get family discount!?).
I sopke to the Volvo dealer and they advised that the Fram will be at least as good as Volvo's own. In fact, Fram is OE on a lot of cars now anyway for various filters. |
