Anyone know what this is for?
Hi all!...just pulled my sc-802 stereo out to have a look if i had a cd changer cable pre-wired(which i dont)......And saw this connector not plugged into anything. Just wondered if anyone knows what its for?!
I have the bass speaker in the boot by the way, which i thought it may have been for! Cheers, Mark Last edited by markalex73; Nov 28th, 2007 at 19:44. |

Hi,
Well, not the CD Changer, that's for sure!! I would be looking for a plug/socket that matches that in the nearby vicinity... Des. . .

Looking at the mass of wire connected to the plug, I'd be wondering if it isnt part of the pre-wire for a Volvo tow bar connection?

Do you have heated seats in the car? That connection is exactly the same as the ones that connect to the heated seat switches.

Its the plug for the heated seats - its there whether you have them or not - there is a matching one on the other side as well - have a look. It should be tied to the area just under the kick panel on the side of the tunnel... |
