I'm in Hertfordshire. I ordered my car at the beginning of March, so roughly 14 weeks. But I was almost floored when I asked my dealer last week what the current waiting time is and he said that for the D3 engine the waiting time can be as long as February next year!!
Mine's a D5, SE with quite a number of options and additions added. Picking it up tomorrow morning - Wahey!

I'm expecting both my XC60 (1st Sept) AND my second child (23rd Sept). And there was me thinking, ordering on 3rd March, that I would have plenty of time to wait for delivery of the mechanical baby, and would be driving round in comfort for the 2nd half of the pregnancy. Ha!

ah , i see you have just become aquainted with a certain "Mr Murphy" , he of "murphys law" , more commonly known as s*d's law.

that must be a right "oh bumsticks" getting notification of "july" ,but you cant have it till 2 months later due to a reg plate.

Just spoke to my lease company i have a XC60 D3 ES on order for sept delivery hopefully (but getting nervous after reading the forum), they have said that volvo are keeping and using D3 engines for the larger cars such as the XC60 but you will have to wait until next March for a D3 S40.

I know all about Mr Murphy. My D5 R-design is available for collection on 2nd July. However, I am in Arabian Gulf til 28th July!! Distance from dealer is 33.4 miles, so that's the mileage, I have told my nearest and dearest, that I would like to see on the clock when I get home and find it all shiny and gleaming in my garage!!!

Wow that's harsh, I like the way you specify the .4 now that's exact.

I guess I'm lucky my wife can't drive so I HAVE to do all the driving and use it for work etc. Even though she is paying for it.

My D3 ES arrived last week and I am really pleased with it up to now. Early days but apparently it all works and looks just tickety boo.I was a bit worried that the “standard performance” radio etc would be disappointing listening to everyone ordering the upgrades to the upgrade with woofers etc but it sounds just fine to me and is certainly more than adequate for my requirements. The rest of the ES spec seems fine to me certainly better than I had anticipated. Some of the other extra bits in higher specs s I have never had so I will never miss. I did go for front and rear park assist which is a big help on this fairly large car and power folding mirrors (so it will fit in my garage) and a bit of nice mahogany classic wood for the center consul just to lift it a bit inside but that’s it .I would say I have got it just about right (for me anyway) without going mad.

Default Delivery imminent

Had an Email from my dealer earlier this week issuing the Chasis number. XC was due to be built this week and with the issue of the chasis number, looks like they were spot on. Due to pick up in mid July. Ordered SE Lux Premum Geartronic in Saville Grey with BLIS and Family pack.
