DVLA plates?

Has anyone gone for their own plates off the DVLA?

As mine is gonna be a Sept Reg I thought XC60 would be cool, followed by my initials, but it wasn't available, so went with another instead.
Any one else go for this?

I looked into this and prefix XC is not available.

You can however get XG60 then any three letters. Some "planning" on where you drill the hole on the G will do me thinks.

Cost for all XG60 plates are £399 from DVLA
