Mini roundabouts every 3 miles? Sounds like Milton Keynes - sat-nav goes into an endless loop :

"At the next roundabout, continue straight to stay on H8"

While exiting the roundabout :

"In 1/4 mile at the next roundabout, take the second exit to continue on H8"

Each roundabout seems to be 1/4 mile from the next.

I know of one car that definitely got hot on the Isle of Man - it was piloted by Tony Pond in 1990 at up to 150mph! Definitely got a bit warm!
