Default Info on timing belt replacement on a 1.6D C30

Hi

Does anybody have the information or paperwork, on the timing belt replacement for the engine fitted to a 2009 C30, R-Design 1.6 Drive D. (80KW)

I only ask, as I can not seem to find a manual for this vehicle.

10 years or 150000 miles

The later D4162T "D2" is 87500 miles or 10 years . not a lot of people know that .

Sorry, I may of worded this wrong.

I require a diagram of the timing marks, so that I can set the timing right.

Only for the D4162T ( D2) the older one which the above has is a 1.6D ( D4164T ) which is still 150000 miles or 10 years ..

The SKF website has guides for the timing kits they sell.

1.6D
https://www.vsm.skf.com/images/produ...12_EN_0914.PDF

Doing mine soon, i have cross-referenced with VIDA and confirm its accurate.

Very useful guide. I have to do myself too, due to lack of quality mechanics. 99% of mechanics I met.... just a job for them, must be an art to troubleshoot a car.
...I might go for SKF timing belt kit, or INA kit, I heard the INA rollers are the best.

Yep agree i dont even let others wash my car, never mind work on it Youtube videos and forums are full of people doing it incorrectly too.

I picked SKF as i trust the bearings, interesting fact volvo and SKF were once the same company. I think my crankshaft seal might be on the way out too. Its teflon type and needs to go on without any lube and sat for 4-8 hours before the car started. Again i dont trust a garage to do it properly either.
