Radiators... 940>240
Maybe this question has been asked and answered to death. If so, sorrrry!
Right, I'm buying some turbo hoses from a friendly gentleman on this here forum, I already have a 940 intercooler (this stuff is for a conversion into a 240). My question is; Will a 940 radiator fit in to my 240 with my 940 cooler? Air-con or non air-con radiator? I'd rather not have to do too much fabrication but that is mainly because I'm lazy. Hi,
The 240 radiator will fit with either the top entry and top exit intercooler from a 740 or early 940, this is the same intercooler that turbo 240s in the USA had so you can buy mounts to bolt it it via eBay.com or turbobricks if you can find them. Or the mid entry and mid exit intercooler will fit, but you’ll need to make mounts for it. You might be able to get a 940 radiator in there, perhaps, but the standard 240 radiator works fine for a turbo car. Cheers |

I never explain the problem well, sorry.
Right, out goes my B200F with auto box (so it has transmission cooler pipes running throughthe radiator). My cooler is top pipe and I was just hoping that this gentlemans radiator would slot straight in. It was just a matter of convenience really because the 940 rad is available right now... |

Radiator will be from a 1996 940 non air con manual if that helps answer the questions.

The non air con rad is the same as a 240 one
The AC one is wider |

The bottom brackets will fit with some modification (I think I had to trim the rubber, but the pubs have been open since) and I needed to make top brackets myself. As Bugjam1999 says, the 240 turbo top brackets can be found occasionally. |

Many thanks to you all for sorting this out for me. Should have a radiator on it's way soon from 360beast (thanks).

The 240 one you have already will work. They are the same. I only used the 940 one because the 240 part was a crusty mess.

Mine is currently an auto, going to be a manual so the current radiator has the transmission cooler 'built in' as it were.
